I have been a bit behind due to illness and lots of projects in Second Life. So I thought today may be a good time to catch up on some of the happenings at the Delta sim. We have many new things at the sim and we also have some new staff members.
We have a brand new DJ named Max Odigaunt starting today at 2 SLT. Max is from the UK and plays a nice mix of blues. I caught his show a week or so ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. We had Corie Charisma start as a host yesterday and while she was nervous she did fine and will be a great addition to the RS. Next Tuesday we have Suzzie Halsey at 2 SLT with her first set for the Riverside. Suzzie plays a mix of Cajun, zydeco and blues and will be a lot of fun. I also would be remiss without mentioning the recent additions of DJ’s BC Susser and Xia Nishi and hostess Cayleen Linette. They have all been here a few weeks now and are off to a great start. Welcome to the Riverside family to all of you.
We also have a few programming changes to note. Mackenzie Bluebird is now a double threat as she has added DJ to her hosting duties at the RS. She does a show every Sunday morning at 10 SLT and is doing really great. Zella Quixote, one of SL’s best newer blues DJ’s has decided to do a show called Fat Tuesday (Tuesdays @ 6 SLT) where she will do a set of Cajun, zydeco and whole lot of New Orleans for us. So make sure you come down and fatten up your Tuesday night with us.
We also have some new shops for you folks to browse. DJ Moonie has opened a Moon Dance Designs branch with us. Bet you didn’t know Moonie made jewellery too. 🙂 We also have some other great shops too including: Connor’s, Wilson’s, Sn@tch, Sartoria, Bootgasm and Sierra’s Sensations. If you like their clothes please buy them here and you can help support the Riverside. If any of you are looking for a place to sell your wares please get in touch with us.
We also have carriage rides around the sim, balloon rides, fishing and lots of other things to discover. Rezz a boat and drift on the river. This is life the way it was meant to be. Warm, slow, laid back and set to a blues soundtrack.
