On Saturday April 3rd, 2010, Hagar Leamouth and Catriona Donegal tied the knot. This was significant to this blog because they are two very good friends of the Riverside Blues Society having both been regular visitors since the doors opened. I would even hazard a guess and say that a good part of the courtship took place on our dance floor when Ann Bluxome wasn’t pestering them out of their naughty box. I am not sure how much Hagar paid in naughty box rental fees but it must have been worth it as he did get his girl.
The wedding reception was held at the Riverside and it was nice that they chose to spend their special day with us. The wedding party included a lot of Riverside folks. The Presenter of the Bride was one of our hosts, Piffy Difference, and the Best Man was one of our DJ’s, Stewart Brune. Finally, the Maid of Honour was one of our society members Emma Genopeak.
This wasn’t the first wedding reception that we held at the Riverside; that distinction goes to Gwylym Loon and Silken Palienta. However, it was the first one that I was organised enough to document. You can see some of the pictures here.
Congratulations to the Leamouths! We are glad you are part of the Riverside family and wish you much happiness together.
